the day after

So it's the day after Christmas and lots has happened. My sister cut my hair and i love it.(
Although the bangs look really short in the above pic!) My brother and his girl got married on Christmas Eve. We have been able to love one another reasonably during my parents' stay. We have laughed a lot. And when my father was marrying Ty and Liz, I don't think there was a dry eye among the 30 or so guests at the Greenbriar Inn. They exchanged vows in this wonderfully Germanic-style inn, with roaring fire (in spite of the 70 degree weather!), lovely sunny terrace that could open right out onto a view of the foothills. But the best part was the moose. This Christmas moose (displaying santa's hat and mounted above the fireplace) observed the happenings directly behind my dad. It was too funny, but at the same time, well, perfect.
Soon reality will return. I'm not ready yet!! Just a few more days of this, please! I hope your Christmas holiday has been blessed.
